Alex Booth – Assistant Project Manager / Electrical Engineer

Alex is a 2015 graduate of Georgia Institute of Technology with bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. While a student at Georgia Tech, Alex was a lab supervisor / undergraduate teacher’s assistant that helped students with their engineering lab courses.  Fresh out of college, Alex worked for a nuclear power engineering firm. Prepared Engineering Change (EC) packages for nuclear power plants including reactor coolant pump seals for Next Era Energy, GSU transformer replacements for Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Facility in Maryland, and private branch exchange communications system upgrade at the Grand Gulf Nuclear plant in Mississippi.

Alex then joined a firm where he gained a great deal of experience estimating projects.  In addition to estimating, Alex was responsible for creating all the Infrared Scan reports for clients of that firm.  These reports were shared with clients in conjunction with service / repair recommendations.  He also gained extensive experience developing engineered drawings during his time at this firm.  He worked alongside licensed engineers to complete panel load calculations, panel schedules, lighting control systems, office/light fixture layouts, and mechanical equipment connections.

Upon Alex joining Titan Electric Georgia, he assisted on a couple of projects that were in progress and then was assigned to the Road Atlanta project. He has also assisted in a Lexus car dealership remodel and the construction of Fox Factory in Gainesville, GA. Both of which were completed in less than a year. Since joining Titan, Alex has participated in the Architecture, Construction, and Engineering (ACE) Mentorship Program mentoring highs school students at the ACE Chapter for students at Chamblee High School.
